LPGA Scholarships

The Marilynn Smith Scholarship -- ten in the amount of $5,000 each

*The Dinah Shore Scholarship -- one in the amount of $5,000

*The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship -- one in the amount of $1,250

All three scholarships are for female high school seniors who play golf and are planning to attend a college or university in the fall.  Please note that The Dinah Shore Scholarship is for an individual who will not be playing on a competitive collegiate golf team; whereas, The Marilynn Smith Scholarship is for an individual planning to play competitive golf in college.  The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship is also for someone playing collegiate golf but additionally they need to be from a recognized minority background and demonstrate financial need.  The deadline for all three scholarships is May 15, 2014.

This is a great opportunity for young women to get help with those college costs!  We would appreciate it if you could pass along this email to any interested students you may know or if you could post information regarding these scholarships at your school, at your association or on your website.  The application forms are attached which detail the criteria and additional info can also be found at www.lpgafoundation.org.
