The hustle and bustle of the beginning of the year has started to settle and we are pushing full steam ahead into September. We have a lot of things going on at The Hill and we don't want you to miss anything!
1. Progress reports were sent home in every academic class today. Be on the lookout for these as they are an excellent way to keep you informed about your child's grades.
2. There will be a Senior Parent Meeting Tuesday night, September 10 at 6. If you are a senior parent, please make plans to be there. We will have lots of information that will directly affect your student.
3. The DeSoto County College Fair will be held at Southaven High School Thursday, September 12. Colleges from Mississippi and Tennessee, military recruiters, and technical colleges will be in attendance. This is a GREAT opportunity for students to get information from several different areas. All students are invited to attend; however, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders need to make a special effort to attend. Click here to see the flyer with break out session times.
4. We know that the College Fair can be an overwhelming experience, in order to help students get the most out of it we have complied a list of questions and topics about college life. You do not have to ask all of these questions, but pick a few from each category to use as a guide.
